At Neon Magpie we are very proud to be living and working in Edinburgh. I have lived here all my life and Chris moved to Edinburgh 7 years ago to go to Edinburgh College of Art. After finishing his degree he decided never to leave! We thought it was time to introduce a Scottish range of cards to the Neon Magpie collection.
The illustrations were designed to be part of an A - Z of Scotland collection. However, I didn't manage to complete all 26 illustrations before our deadline so now we have a collection of 8 designs. I am still working on the rest of the drawings!
We wanted our cards to stand out from other Scottish cards so we have given them a luxurious feel. We have used rich, dark colours for these cards. They are made from thick, recycled card which is then printed with an intricate hot foil stamp.
We are so proud of this range of cards and intend to expand this range and add Christmas cards. We hope you like them as much as we do!
